Challenge
As a high-consumption IT company with heavy air conditioning loads across dual shifts and weekend operations, the client faced escalating energy bills and a large carbon footprint. Their ambition to “go green” led them to explore renewable energy solutions that could offset a substantial portion of their energy demand.

Delta Power partnered with the company to design and implement a phased solar energy solution under the net metering protocol:
- Phase 1 (Chandigarh IT Park Site): Installation of a 50 kWp Solar Power Plant.
- Phase 2 (Mohali Site 1): Expansion with a 100 kWp Solar Power Plant three years later.
- Phase 3 (Mohali Site 2, 2024-25): Addition of another 50 kWp Solar Power Plant.
Total Installed Capacity: 200 kWp

Despite weekend shutdowns (Saturdays off), continuous solar generation on weekends builds up energy credits, optimizing overall energy efficiency.
Residential Integration
Leading by example, the company’s Managing Director installed a 10 kWp solar system with microinverter technology at his Chandigarh residence in 2018. Since installation, the residence has consistently reported zero electricity bills.
