A prominent supplier to leading passenger car and tractor OEMs, and a recognized partner for defense-related components, the client operates state-of-the-art facilities located in Parwanoo, Barotiwala, and Rohtak. With core expertise in specialized tooling and high-capacity precision machining, the company has consistently led from the front in adopting cutting-edge technologies and sustainable practices.
Project Overview
The client took a significant step towards environmental sustainability by partnering with DeltaPower to install solar power systems across its manufacturing units. The objective was to reduce dependency on grid electricity and cut down on operational energy costs.
Solar Installation Journey
- Rohtak Facility (Initial Phase): In a pioneering move, a 250 kWp solar power plant was installed at the Rohtak facility. This initiative marked the beginning of a long-term commitment to clean energy.
- Barotiwala Facility (Expansion Phase): Building on the success at Rohtak, a larger 500 kWp solar power system was commissioned two years later at the Barotiwala site.
- Parwanoo Facility (Recent Development): Most recently, a 350 kWp plant was successfully installed at Parwanoo during the 2024-25 period.
Total Capacity and Energy Generation
The cumulative capacity across all three sites now stands at an impressive 1,100 kWp. These solar power systems collectively generate approximately 4,400 units per day, culminating in an annual generation of 1,606,000 units of clean energy.
Impact and Results
With a combined annual consumption of 6,000,000 units across the three sites, the solar installations have enabled the client to offset 26% of their electricity requirement. This translates to a substantial financial saving of Rs. 1,12,42,000 annually, based on prevailing tariffs in the states where the units are located.
